HONOLULU — The state of Hawaiʻi Joint Information Center (JIC) has concluded operations as of noon on August 24, 2026. It was activated to support coordinated media operations during Tropical Cyclone Moke.

Members of the media are encouraged to direct any future inquiries related to weather impacts, response efforts and recovery activities to the appropriate state and county agency public information offices.

The JIC phone number and email will not continue to be actively monitored.
