Vietnam Veterans Day Parade
Posted on Mar 17, 2025 in Webmaster CommentsWaikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii – March 29, 2025 – The National Vietnam Veterans Day Parade will bring Americans together in a powerful event that honors Vietnam Veterans, their families, active-duty military personnel, and the thousands of Vietnamese community members both in Hawaii and across the mainland. The parade will also serve as an opportunity to educate and inspire visitors to Hawaii who come to show their respect and admiration.
The official ceremony and parade will feature participants selected from all over the country. The procession will travel along Kalakaua Avenue to Kapi’olani Park in Waikiki on the evening of March 29, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:30 PM.
On behalf of a grateful nation, we remember, we honor, and we salute all those who served. As Hawaii was the nation’s gateway for those heading to and returning from war, it is only fitting that the National Vietnam Veterans Day Parade take place here. Hawaii’s warm hospitality will offer a healing embrace to those who lived through the hardships of war many years ago. The parade is produced annually by Historic Programs in partnership with various organizations and is officially recognized as part of the United States Vietnam War Commemoration.
