Lt Col Brian S. Nash assumed command of the 199th Fighter Squadron from Lt Col Shane Nagatani, during a Change of Command ceremony held January 11, 2020 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Col Michael “Stuck” Blake, the 154th Operations Group commander, hosted the ceremony.

The 199th Fighter Squadron operates the F-22 Raptor with the active-duty 19th Fighter Squadron and are collectively known as the Hawaiian Raptors.
