Posted on Feb 2, 2013 in Retiree Update

Robert DeCoster, a former member of the 154th Security Forces Squadron, has retired from the 110th Fighter Wing (Michigan ANG) after serving 32 years in the Air National Guard. Bob served as the technician with the 154 SFS here many years ago before moving to Michigan. He completed his college work and later received his commission.

Bob started nursing school in January. He has been an on-call firefighter in his township for 17 years. He found that he liked the medical side of the work very interesting and decided to pursue a nursing degree.

His email closed with, “Give me regards to all, my family at HI ANG are often in my thoughts, take care.’
