Walter Kaneakua is leaving his position as the District Director for Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. After retiring from the Hawaii Air National Guard, Walt flew for Aloha Airlines for a few years before starting in Senator Daniel Inouye’s Honolulu office. He served as the senator’s executive assistant for military affairs. Walt supported Guard issues throughout his career and his presence will be missed. Happy Retirement Walt!
Estelle Higa retires from the State Personnel Office after more than 30 years of service. Estelle served most of her career in the State Department of Defense. She was a smiling face who helped with your personnel challenges. She will be missed – Happy Retirement Estelle!
