It’s a great day and month to be in the State Department of Defense, Hawaii National Guard.
We just congratulated BG Kenneth Hara, and now we have another brigadier general in the Hawaii National Guard. His promotion day was October 15, 2015.
COL Suzanne Vares-Lum will be our newest Brigadier General effective October 28, 2015. Suzy is being promoted and assigned to the United States Pacific Command (PACOM) J5 Mobility Assistant.
