Taps: Antone G. Bento

Antone G. Bento, 101, of Honolulu, a Hawaii County lead painter, an Army veteran who served with Company C, 298th Infantry Regiment, and recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, passed away on August 2, 2015. He was born in Hilo.

He is survived by sons Gerald and Anthony G. Jr., daughters Geri Mehrtens and Antoinette Lovell, 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
