The Hawai‘i Air National Guard Leadership team tour the 298th Air Defense Group

During the comprehensive tour, during March 2021 drill, Brig. Gen. Joseph Harris, Chief Master Sgt. Alvin Fritz and team received a capability brief along with goals and LIMFACs from Lt. Col. Daniel C. Wrazien the 298th Commander, and Maj. Mariko Boone, 169th Air Defense Squadron Commander.
Then the team toured the unit’s facilities on O‘ahu, including the installation on the top of Mt. Ka‘ala, Motor Pool, Supply and, Support areas. Throughout the visit, Brig. Gen. Harris interacted with traditional and full time Airmen and spoke with them about their Guard experience and was briefed on the systems that they maintain and operate during their 24/7 365 mission.
