In November, Retiree News featured a post about an Academy of Military Science (AMS) graduation in 2003. It was a special event because the commissioning class included seven Hawaii Air National Guard members.
There was a HIANG KC-135 Stratotanker mission to the area that allowed several Guardmembers to fly to Knoxville, Tennessee for the graduation ceremony. The night before graduation, where is a formal dinner where performance awards were presented.
Three HIANG unit commanders attended that dinner – Galen Yoshimoto (the then-154th Mission Support Flight), Basil Marcus Badley (the then-154th Communications Flight), and David Molinaro (154th Logistics Readiness Squadron).
Thanks to Dave Molinaro for sharing this photograph
