Check Six: Retirees on Vacation in Japan

Earlier this summer, Blossom Logan sent in this photograph of Donna Shimazu with her on a tour in Japan. Both families were in the same tour group.
Blossom retired from Hawaii Air National Guard after a long career in the Human Resources Office. Militarily, she was assigned to the Hq, Hawaii Air National Guard. Her husband, Mark Logan, served a long career in the Hawaii Army National Guard.
Donna retired from the Hawaii Air National Guard; serving on the support staff of the 291st Combat Communications Squadron in Hilo, and later as the unit recruiter. Donna continues her military related service as a volunteer with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). She is one of two members of the large Hara family in Hilo who served in the Air Force/Air Guard.
