Soldiers of Detachment 1, Company Golf, 1st Battalion, 189th Aviation Regiment bid farewell to family and friends during their deployment ceremony at the Kalaeloa Army Aviation Support Facility on June 16, 2018. This is their first overseas mission since their unit activation last year and will be conducting Aero-Medical Evacuation and Flight Operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom – Spartan Shield.
