For Love of Country

Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor recently welcomed guests to its 11th annual gala, For Love of Country, in World War II Hangar 79.

The mission of Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor is to develop and maintain an internationally recognized aviation museum on Ford Island that educates young and old alike, honors aviators and their support personnel who defended freedom in the Pacific Region and preserve Pacific aviation history.

Clinton “Church” Churchill was a pilot with the 199th Fighter Squadron, flying F-4C Phantoms and F-15 Eagles. His last assignment was the Commander, Hawaii Air National Guard.

As Traditional Guardmember, he served as a trustee for the James Campbell Estate. The estate dissolved in 2007 in accordance with Campbell’s will. Church continued to serve overseeing the estate’s final disposition.
