Check Six – 1986: CPT Word Processors

Posted on Dec 15, 2017 in 1980's, Check Six

In the 1986, the Hawaii Air National Guard purchased CPT word processors for the unit support functions. The CPT system used two 8-inch floppy diskette drives and were used for several years before the first computers – Zenith Z-100s – arrived.

This 1986 photograph has Katherine Asato and Roberta Akana working on their CPT machine. Both Kathy and Robbie retired after long fulltime careers.
