Check Six: Old Friends – 35+ years ago

This photograph shows Robert Ajitomi and Maximo “Max” Valenzuela, both members of the then 202d Combat Communications Flight. The photograph is undated but probably was taken in the 1970s.

Max was a technician who retired after a long career. He passed away several years ago. Robert was a Traditional Guardmember who was a student, and got out of the Guard after graduation. Robert’s older brother, Henry, also served with the 202 CCF.
