The inaugural Tamura Superette Inc. Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament was held September 1 at ‘Ewa Beach Golf Club with proceeds benefiting the Leeward O‘ahu community, providing educational and asset assistance to Leeward Coast causes.
From their website: Started in the 1920s, Tamura Super Market has proudly been providing a shopping and meeting place for the leeward community with open arms and open hearts.
George Kaneshiro served as a maintenance technician in the 154th Wing. He was part of the radio shop during the Deuce era and in avionics branch as the Wing transitioned to Phantoms and later Eagles. George retired from the Hawaii Air National Guard 20 years ago. After retirement, he was a travel consultant for a locate travel agency.
