Taps: Franklin M. Hiroe

Franklin M. Hiroe, 82, of Honolulu passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2017. He was the eldest son of the late Masaru and Shizue Hiroe of Wahiawa, Hawaii. He retired from Hawaii Army National Guard and GTE Hawaiian Telephone.

He is survived by wife, Helen, son, David (Joyce, his caregiver), daughters Lorianne (Rob) Makiya and Karelyn (Curtis) Solomon, and four loving granddaughters. He also has a sister, Mrs. Irene Young and brothers, Richard, Karl, and Kenneth.

Private services held. Donations may be made in his memory to Hawaii Parkinson Association.
