This photograph shows Delos Chow and his wife Judy, with Walter Nishihara in the middle.
In the early 1970s, the then 201st Mobile Communications Squadron hosted an annual luau. These luau were fun events for a young squadron that started in 1967. The squadron expanded and later became the 201st Combat Communications Group in 1975.
Delos served as a power production technician and retired as a senior master sergeant. He passed away in 2005 at age 60. His wife Linda passed away last summer.
Nishi was the automotive maintenance supervisor and retired as a master sergeant. He passed away last October.
Delos and Nishi were great individuals who were key members of the squadron in the early days.
Thanks for Bob Finley and Calvin Chow, Delos’ brother, who also served in the 201st, for the photo identifications.
