Retiree News recently had an email exchange with Joseph “Joe” Holliday. Joe retired from the 169th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron in April 1998.

A Traditional Guardmember, he worked for the Department of Human Services. He and his family later moved to the East Coast where he continued his federal career and retired in 2008.

Joe now works as Family Support Specialist with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. He assists clients to get Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid and Cash assistance.

Joe said he and his family have been living in West Virginia for about 11 years now. His home is close to the Air National Guard base in Martinsburg (167th Airlift Wing).

Joe sends his Aloha to all his friends in Hawaii.
