Taps: Vincente “Vince” Duran

Vincente “Vince” Duran, 82 of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away at home on November 20, 2016. He was born in Kealia, Kauai, Hawaii.

He retired as a Sergeant Major after 44 years of service with the Hawaii Army National Guard; He was Chief Operations Sergeant for HQ STARC, HIRANG, and his last duty position as NCOIC Support to U.S. Customs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julia, of 63 years; Sons: Glenn (Evelyn) Duran, Vincent Duran, Jr.; Daughters: Vivian Ramento (Rick), Doreen – deceased (Julio) Carino, Debra (Garret) Sekigawa, Jacquelyn (Edward) Andrade; Brothers: David Duran; Raymond (Marylou) Duran, Roy Duran; Sisters: Josephine Standing, Linda Duran; 16 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grand- children; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Mililani Mortuary – Makai Chapel, Service at 10:00 a.m., Burial at 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire
