On December 6, 2006, Raymond Moriguchi passed away at age 76. Ray retired as a colonel after a long career in the Hawai‘i Air National Guard. Born in Honolulu, he was one of the weapons controllers who moved to Kaua‘i as the 150th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron activated in the 1960s. He later served as the squadron commander before returning to Honolulu.

Ray’s last assignment was the Executive Support Staff Officer (ESSO) – currently called the Director of Staff – at Headquarters, Hawai‘i Air National Guard (HQ HIANG).

A great individual who passed too early in his retirement.
