Steve Lum, a Hawaii Army National Guard retiree who works in the Public Affairs Office, found this photo in their historical files.  The photo is shows the old Department of Defense Building, probably taken in the 1960s.

The building was on Diamond Head Road, right across the street from current the Kapi‘olani Community College bus stop.  The Department occupied this facility until they moved to the current building around the bend around 1970.
