Taps: Edward Paat Babas Sr.

Edward Paat Babas Sr., 88, of Honolulu, a retired Pepsi-Cola route manager and an Army National Guard veteran, died on August 21, 2016. He was born in Kealia, Kaua‘i.

He is survived by partner Virginia Dofa; sons Edward Jr., Jeffery, Philip and Clayton; daughters Carmelita Meyer, Carolyn Roach, Erlinda Swinford and Lenora Babas; brothers Jaime, Felipe and Ernesto; sister Nita; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Visitation: 9:30 a.m. September 15 at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawai‘i State Veterans Cemetery, Kāne‘ohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Condolences: www.borthwickoahu.com
