James Benjamin Respicio, a.k.a. Jim, Jimmy, Jack, Uncle D, age 79, of Makakilo, Hawaii, passed away May 16, 2016 in San Diego, California. Born March 4, 1937 in Ewa, HI. Graduated from Waipahu High School, Class of 1955. Retired from the State of Hawai’i, Dept. of Agriculture and retired Colonel, U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard.

He is survived by daughters, Jaclyn (Steven) Wills, Jade (Donald) Curtis, Jeana (David) Kaio; brothers, Artemio (Remy) Respicio, Cornelio Respicio, Bruno (Leona) Respicio; sister, Catherine Cabudol; 6 grand- children, 5 great-grandchildren; fiance, Novelita Betty Domdom & family.

On June 6th he was laid to rest at the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA with full military honors. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel in Waipio, O’ahu, Hawai’i. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
