Retiree Update: Dennis and Carmela Vigue

Dennis Vigue retired from the Hawaii Army National Guard in 2007.  He has been working with the Department of Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service since November 2009.  He started there as vocational training through the Veterans program at Tripler Army Medical Center.  Six months later he was hired as an IT Specialist – Network Services Technician, a Federal position.

Carmela Vigue continues to work at the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, formerly known as State Civil Defense.  She started there in 1994, and works in the mitigation branch.  Carmela served several years in the Hawaii Army National Guard.

Carmela and Dennis will soon celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary. A great Guard family!
