Taps: Alfred Hanuala “Freddy” Rabara Sr.

Alfred Hanuala “Freddy” Rabara Sr., 87, of Kailua-Kona, a retired Hawaii Police Department sergeant, West Hawaii coordinator under Mayor Herbert Matayoshi, and a National Guard veteran, passed away in Nakamaru Hale, Hospice of Kona on May 14, 2016. He was born in Waipunalei, Hawaii.

He is survived by sons Alfred Jr. and Rollin, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Visitation: 8 a.m. June 4 at Helani Congregational Church. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
