Taps: Anthony Pacheco Benevides
Posted on May 3, 2016 in TapsAnthony Pacheco Benevides, 93, of Hilo, a retired mechanic for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and Mauna Kea Sugar Co., and a veteran in the Army and Hawaii Army National Guard, passed away in the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility on April 13, 2016.. He was born in Hilo.
He is survived by sons Sonny and Patrick Haleamau, hanai sons Anthony and Kaohe Haleamau, sister Fanny Gouveia, eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 5 p.m. May 5 at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. May 6 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to be held at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Flowers welcome
