Taps: Albert John DeMotta Sr.

Albert John DeMotta Sr., 81, of Pepeekeo, Hawai‘i, a retiree from the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. in Pepeekeo and a Hawai‘i Army National Guard veteran, passed away on August 27, 2015. He was born in Hilo.

He is survived by wife Mary R. Rios; sons Nelson and Sheldon DeMotta, and Tommy Anduha; daughters Lena Carver, Eileen Rodrigues, Terry Valenciano, Stacie Anduha and Shaylyn DeMotta; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6 p.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Services and celebration of life: 7 p.m.
