Taps: Phillip Komoali’i Losalio Sr.

Phillip Komoali’i Losalio Sr., 78, of Kealia, Hawaii, a retired bellman for Royal Kona Resort and Kona Hilton Hotel, a McCandless ranch hand and cowboy, and a Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, passed away in Kona Community Hospital on June 16, 2015. He was born in Pahala, Hawaii.

He is survived by wife Daisy; sons Phillip Jr. and John; daughters Gerrianne Jiampetti, Julianne Losalio, Rayanne Volkoff and Joeanne Losalio-Watson; hanai sons Kelly Losalio, George Jr., James and Matthew Cipriano, and Matthew and Marvin Naihe Jr.; hanai daughters Brianne Silva-Losalio, Cheyenne Losalio, Michiko Watai, Marilyn Mitchell, Leilani Kiwaha and Geraldine Ely; sisters Irene Leslie and Roseline Grace; hanai brothers Robert Jr., Rogers, John K. and Edward M. Naihe; 23 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 8 a.m. July 25 at Puka’ana Congregational Church, Kealia. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. Flowers and lei welcome.
