Taps: Victor DeVera Jr.
Posted on Jun 16, 2015 in TapsVictor DeVera Jr., 78, of Hilo, a retired ramp and cargo agent for Aloha Airlines, an Army staff sergeant and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, passed away in Tripler Army Medical Center on May 31, 2015. He was born in Hilo.
He is survived by wife Susan M.; daughters Jodi Ellazar, Dawn “Tiny” Bondaug, Darlene Matsushita and Dodie Thomas; sons Desmond Matsumura and Troy DeVera; stepdaughter Terry L. Larson; stepsons Elijah “Poncho” and Scott Maluo; brother Paul; sister Rosemarie C. “Tootsie” Flores; 32 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 10 a.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services at noon. Casual attire.
