The Hawaii State Senate will hold the confirmation floor vote for Brigadier General Arthur Logan as the Adjutant General and Colonel Kenneth Hara as the Deputy Adjutant General on Thursday, April 2, 2015. The vote will take place in the Senate chambers at the State Capitol starting at 1130. All state senators present will vote on their confirmation.
Earlier, the Senate Committee on Public Safety, Intergovernmental and Military Affairs convened a public hearing to review the qualifications of both officers and take public testimony. After hearing the written and verbal testimony, the committee chair, Senator Will Espero recommended approval to the full senate. The committee vote was 4-0 with one senator excused.
The April 2 confirmation vote is open to the public.
