Taps: Richard “Dickie” Saunders

Richard Paul Saunders, Jr., 73, passed away on June 12, 2014 at Straub Hospital. Born October 25, 1940 in Honolulu. He served in the Hawai‘i Air National Guard as a recruiter and worked for the Federal government for over 32 years.
He is survived by wife Edwina J. Medeiros Saunders, sons, Rick (Charlene) Saunders, Ed (Ashlyn) Saunders, Robert (Karla) Saunders, Anthony (Shanielle) Saunders; brother Milton Saunders; sisters Dorothy Ae, Agnes Saunders; grandchildren Mia, Kayla, RP Saunders; Waianuhea, Kaleimakali‘i Saunders; Tyler, Ashley Evan Saunders; Brandt Izuno; great-grandson Tanner Pattison.
