Saffery Shigematsuu Higa, 57, Honolulu, a finishing carpenter and a Hawai‘i Air National Guard veteran, passed away on May 5, 2014. He was born in Honolulu.

He is survived by companion Kimberly N.S. Ardis, brother Larry and sisters Jan Taniguchi, Carolyn Saggers and Gail Perez.
