My Back Pages: Summer Camp at Pōhakuloa

Posted on May 19, 2013 in 1980's, History

In 1981, some members of the  Hawai‘i Army National Guard’s 292nd Supply & Service Company posed for a photo at the Pōhakuloa Training Area. Third from the left is then CPT Gervin Miyamoto and MAJ Emerick Kaneshi on the far right.

Retiree Update: Gervin continues as the US Marshall for Hawai‘i and Emerick recently retired from his State position with the Department of Defense.

Mahalo to Steve Lum who shared the photo.
