Taps: Arthur Mitchell “Aka” Mahi
Posted on Apr 15, 2013 in TapsArthur Mitchell “Aka” Mahi, 79, of Kalaoa, Hawai‘i, a retired Hawaiian Dredging Co. laborer and Isemoto Construction Co. employee, passed away on March 23, 2013. He was also an Army and Hawai‘i National Guard veteran who served during the Korean and Vietnam wars, and a Purple Heart recipient. He was born in Laupāhoehoe, Hawai‘i. He is survived by wife Theresa, son Kaleo, daughter Agnes Barrozo, hanai sons Joel Victor and Erik Warner, sisters Annie Mokiau and Mary Reyes, and four grandchildren.
