EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY TO TEST SIRENS
AT AOLEWA PL, LAGOON DR, WAIMANALO, JUNE 13, 2018
HONOLULU — The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (Hawaii-EMA), together with the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management, will test siren installations at:
Aolewa Place (Airport area)
Lagoon Drive (Airport area)
Waimanalo Beach Park
between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
The sirens will sound intermittently during that period to test for proper functioning.
The sirens were installed as part of HI-EMA’s ongoing siren repair and upgrade program. Other sirens will be updated, and new sirens installed, at various locations across the state over the coming months.
