What: Maj. Gen. Roy Macaraeg to be honored at his retirement ceremony

When: Friday, Dec. 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.

Where: 29^th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Readiness Center, Kalaeloa

Who: Hawaiʻi Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Stephen Logan, Hawaiʻi Deputy Adjutant General Brig. Gen. Phillip Mallory, Command Senior Enlisted Leader Command Sgt. Maj. Brandon Kumalae, guests and soldiers from the Hawaiʻi Army National Guard

Details: There will be a cannon salute (13 fires) at the ceremony and at a rehearsal that morning at 8:00 a.m.   

This event is for invited guests and media only. Credentialed members of the media are invited to participate in person. All journalists are asked to RSVP.

Media planning in-person coverage should RSVP by sending their name and news organization before 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday to [email protected].

Entry to the Readiness Center: Enter via guard shack off Enterprise Avenue. Have valid ID ready. The RSVP’d name will be on a list, if you do not RSVP, you will not be allowed access.
