Resiliency Directorate
Responsible for 3-5 major functions and provides statewide policy, guidance, leadership, management, and oversight of service member, family, contractor, and employee programs, policies, and plans. Provides guidance to both Army and Air National Guard. State programs may include Violence Prevention, Family Programs, Resilience and Risk Reduction, Yellow Ribbon, Transition Assistance, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Outreach, Religious Support, Behavioral Health, Children Youth, Youth Challenge, and Wellness.
Mission
To provide integrated resiliency programs and resources that strengthen the readiness, well-being, and overall effectiveness of Hawaii National Guard Service Members, Civilians, and their families—where we live, work, and lead.
Vision
A mission-ready Hawaii National Guard comprised of resilient personnel that are integrated through strong partnerships across military and community organizations.

- Promote healthy habits that support mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and family well-being.
- Encourage help-seeking behaviors and eliminate the stigma associated with accessing support.
- Uphold a culture of professionalism, mutual respect, and dignity for all members.
- Strengthen connections among Service Members, families, units, and support organizations to build a resilient and mission-focused force.
- Enhance safety, wellness, and operational readiness through integrated programs, tools, and resources.
- Provide education and training that reinforces resilience and awareness of local and national practices to support a strong, adaptive workforce.
