The Engineering Office provides the entire spectrum of professional engineering services to the State of Hawai‘i Department of Defense and supports all department divisions and departmental staff offices in implementing statewide programs, departmental priorities, and current operations.
The office’s major responsibilities are to plan for, direct, administer, and supervise the department’s capital improvement program projects, major and minor construction, state contracting, facility repair and maintenance, custodial and ground maintenance, vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance, and land management.
