Company B, 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment (Co. B 2-211th AVN)

Commanded by 1st Lt. Zachary Tinao-Rabellizsa and 1st Sgt. Clayton Perreir, Co. B, 2-211th AVN provides aerial movement of troops, supplies, and equipment for support of maneuver, combat support, and combat service support
operations. Provides National Guard Civil Support.

Sling Load Training: Sling load training support for Co. B, 777th ASC at Wheeler Army Airfield on Oct. 14 and 15, 2023. One Chinook (CH47F) flight crew performed external load operations on a spider crane in support of downed aircraft recovery proficiency training.

Maui and Mililani Mauka Wildfire Support: CH47F Air and ground crews assisted during water bucket operations in support of Maui Wildfire and Mililani Mauka Fire missions from Aug. 9 to Nov. 7, 2023. During both missions, flight crews flew over 50 flight hours and dispensed over 200,000 gallons of water.

FY24 Aerial Gunnery: Co. B, 2-211th AVN Flight crews and ground support flew to PTA and conducted aerial gunnery tables 1-6 IOT from April 29 to May 1, 2024 to meet annual gunnery requirements for 17 Air Crew Members.

Company B, 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment

The Chinook unit is headquartered at Kalaeloa. Its mission is to mobilize and deploy worldwide to conduct combat, combat support, combat service support to heavy lift operations throughout all modes of flight (day, night, and night vision devices) ISO Unified Land Operations. On order, provides National Guard Domestic Operations support throughout Hawai‘i. In FY20:

  • Supported Maui County by conducting water bucket operations throughout all modes of flight (day, night, and night vision devices).
  • Provided personnel and aviation assets to the Joint Task Force and Task Force Aviation in support of the State of Hawai‘i COVID-19 response.
