F-22 Raptor Damaged Upon Landing
Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. Upon landing this morning at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, an F-22 Raptor belonging to the 199th and 19th Fighters Squadrons, sustained damage to both horizontal stabilizers. The initial cost estimate for repairs is $1.8 million.
The pilot of the aircraft was uninjured. The cause of the mishap is under investigation.
