Live Wildfire Interactive Map – Get real-time mapped data including current wildfires, red flag warnings, drought intensity and wind speeds. This ArcGIS (geographic information system) software application is published by the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. View the current wildfire map here.

Hawaiʻi Drought Monitor – Weekly updates provide awareness of drought conditions that can be conducive to wildfire ignition. Understanding alerts and warnings:

Red Flag Warnings and Fire Weather Watches – The National Weather Service’s Honolulu Office issues alerts when weather conditions favor wildfire ignition – such as drought, high temperatures, low humidity and high winds. Visit the National Weather Service Honolulu Forecast Office webpage here.
