TSUNAMI WATCH CANCELLED FOR HAWAII ISLANDS

 

HONOLULU — The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has cancelled the tsunami watch for the Hawaii Islands effective on 7/28/21 at 21:15 HST.

 

There is no tsunami threat to the State of Hawai`i.

 

The Hawai`i Emergency Management Agency would like to take this time to remind all residents to sign up for emergency wireless alerts at https://dod.hawaii.gov/hiema/get-ready/.

Please refer to the front yellow section of the telephone book for preparedness information and evacuation areas.

Prepare your “go kit,” which includes face masks and hand sanitizer. Be prepared for whenever a disaster may occur.
