Arnett was in Honolulu as part of a series of news stories he plans to write on the National Guard. While in the islands, Arnett had an opportunity to fly in a Phantom, tour HANG facilities and talk to Guard members. Arnett was a Vietnam war correspondent and won Pulitzer prizes for his work. Sgt.
