The Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home is post-acute care and rehabilitation service provider specifically designed to serve the special needs of Veterans. Located in Hilo, Hawaiʻi the facility features dedicated short-term rehabilitation services and residential long-term placement.

In addition to rehabilitation services, Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home is designed to care for medical conditions through personalized, 24-hour skilled nursing care provided by licensed clinical specialists and therapists. With oversight and coordination with physicians and nurse practitioners, teams work hand-in-hand to provide compassionate quality care.

The Daniel K. Akaka State Veterans Home is the largest post-acute care and rehabilitation service facility in Hawaiʻi, specifically created to serve and support the needs of Veterans. This 120-bed facility is located on a seven-acre property in Kapolei, Hawaiʻi.

Services include care plans, recreational activities and access to medical assistance. Various amenities such as communal dining, landscaped gardens and wellness programs are offered to enhance the quality of life for veterans.
