The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency is holding the Concept and Objectives Meeting for Makani Pahili 2017, the statewide hurricane exercise, on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at HI-EMA’s Building 303. HI-EMA and the counties will discuss plans for the second year of the three-year exercise cycle leading to the full-scale exercise in 2018. Makani Pahili, which is scheduled for the week of July 10, 2017, will focus on tabletop exercises (TTX).
