PANE MAI QUESTION: 1/22/2025 “ADOS Missions”
Posted on Jan 22, 2025 in Ask the TAG responsesQuestion for CSEL
I have a soldier that recently inquired if there are any ADOS missions for an E-4. I told him nothing was passed down from our NCO Support Channel. However, I told him that I read online that Texas ARNG is looking for soldiers to support their border control immigration mission, but I also informed him that Texas is a Republican Red state, and that Hawaii is a Democratic Blue state and for this type of support to happen might be a stretch on political views. Please advise. Thanks.
Answer
Mahalo for the question. I appreciate you looking out for your Soldiers.
The official resource to find and volunteer for active duty tours is Tour of Duty: https://mobcop.aoc.army.pentagon.mil/TODMVC/FindJob/FindJob
Anything outside of that could be inaccurate. Accessing the site requires CAC. There are many positions for E4’s, but I don’t see anything for the TX border mission.
Volunteering for support, mobilizations, etc. require chain of command approval up to TAG. Typically, the G3 mobilization officer is the POC for units to submit packets to.
Politics have absolutely nothing to do with the approval process for what our Soldiers volunteer for.
