Question for the TAG:

Why are AGR Command positions being given to O4s and not offered to current O5s without Command? Specifically the CST Command positions. MAJ Radi is “rumored” to be chosen but no other O4 or O5 have been offered a chance to compete. Does this JS position not have to follow the new OFMB/CFRB process?

Mahalo for your question. The WMD-CST Commander position may be filled by either an Air National Guard officer or an Army National Guard officer. It is not subject to the governance of the Hawaii Army National Guard OFMB/CFRB. I’m not tracking a change of command at the 93 CST in the near future. At the appropriate time, the HIANG and HIARNG Commanders will nominate potential applicants at the O4 and O5 levels to the TAG for final approval and choice.
