Check Six: Tamahlani Noh – 35+ years ago

Posted on Nov 9, 2017 in 1980's, Check Six

This photograph features a young Tamahlani Noh – then Tamahlani Nakamoto. Like many Hawaii Air National Guard officers she was commissioned after serving several years as an enlisted member. The photograph was taken in the CBPO (Consolidated Base Personnel Office – predecessor to the Military Personnel Flight).

She was instrumental is the establishment of Hawaii’s Youth Challenge Academy Program in the early 1990s. Later, she became part of the Hawaii National Guard’s Drug Interdiction Program. Her last military assignment was the 154th Wing’s Inspector General.

A great individual and leader though out her career.
