Congratulations and happy birthday to the HIANG Royal Guard, which was reorganized on this day in 1962.The ceremonial unit has roots that dates back to the 19th century and was originally assigned to protect the Royal Family. Today, the unit carries on that legacy and remains devoted to serve the state of Hawai’i and the people who make upt his precious community.
