Check Six – 2009: Last 2 F-15 Eagles Leave for the Boneyard

On September 22, 2009, the 154th Wing hosted ceremony to honor the last two McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagles leaving the Hawai‘i Air National Guard flightline. They were aircraft 77-074 and 76-032. Maj. Kristoff “JAG” Sills and Lt. Col. Mark “Odie” Ladtkow had the honor of flying the HIANG’s last two F-15As to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona where they will be retired. The 199th Fighter Squadron had flown F-15 Eagles since 1987.
